Zander Buel is a student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism in Phoenix, Arizona. While wading through a restless, frustrated existence, he navigates his indecisiveness with his own personal creative writing projects and musings on the inner workings of his favorite artists, from musicians to writers. His forte rests in music across the Gothic, industrial, post-punk, and darkwave spectrums, but his tastes stretch to many different sounds and styles that make him a well-rounded and open-minded listener. His favorite artists include The Cure, Faith and the Muse, and Clan of Xymox.
Zander writes for various publications such as Soundcloud Music Reviews, Blueblood.net, and COMA Music Magazine. He also co-runs PhxGoth.com, an online source for everything Gothic and dark alternative in Arizona, with Fuchsia Angel, frontwoman of the Phoenix darkwave band Bella Lune. His various freelance writing sprees give him hope fo r a life as a functioning, independent adult in the future. He’s been writing a novel for the past several years that keeps him holding on to his singular creative spark.
Zander’s online presence is scattered across these various mediums:
