Judit Bere, also known as Skita, will be a force to be reckoned with. Mark my words, she will take the music industry by storm. She truly is a jack of all trades. She is not only a singer, arranger, songwriter, and producer, she also loves to remix tracks. To be able to remix Sasha Pannu’s track, entitled “The Symphony”, and give it a completely different feel is truly an amazing feat. The original version is a nod to not just one genre, it is a nod to the trip hop that came out of Bristol through Portishead and Massive Attack. The first time I listened to it, I actually thought it was a Handsome Boy Modeling School song I had missed. The production level and songwriting skill is mind-blowing. She has an ear for arrangement and a talent for music in many different aspects. I’m sure whatever aspect of the industry she chose she could do very well in, I personally hope she decides to continue to apply herself to many aspects at once.
The feel of the original is definitely calm. It is quietly assertive, forcing you to really take a listen to it. As you have to do to really hear all those different aspects that are not evident the first listen. It does require several listens to get a good grasp on the song, as any good song does. It does grab you immediately and demand your attention, but not it a way where it screams it. The quiet demand to listen again and again to the voluptuous production and the velvety vocals is what made me love this song.
Remixing Sasha Pannu’s track seemed to be a challenge that was well worth the effort and due diligence in planning this amazing feat. The vocals are similar enough to maintain the original feel of the song, but she ramps it up with peaks and cliffs to properly pull people into the song and to help push it the zenith. She was able to create a unique feel to it that helps her to stand out from the crowd, but still belong to it at the same time. She definitely has a good understanding of how to create and produce good music, but of how to deliver a high standard of music in not just a single genre. That is a rare thing to witness. I’m very excited to see what she will deliver next. If this is only the beginning of her career, then I hope she has a very long and fruitful one. She could take over the world if she wanted to.
Skita was aware of changing the genre of the original track to make it more suitable for DJs to play it at the nightclubs. Skita wanted to create a unique bass line, which brings power. The remixed track brings about another level of excitement and touches the emotions of those intently listening.

She started her music career in the field of classical music, but went on to pop music. As a music producer she stands for a new music style, which integrates classical tunes and ‘electronic’ sounds to create a unique and groundbreaking music genre entertaining music-loving audience with her spectacular show. This is a new, but totally ‘accessible’ kind of music, mixing the opera with the world of dance music – creating a new genre in both sound and visual.
Sasha Biography
Sasha Pannu is a singer song-writer based in Manchester, UK. With support from BBC Manchester, BBC Introducing and Manchester Evening News to name a few, she has managed in the short time since she moved here from her hometown of Newcastle, to break into the Manchester music scene and make her name known.
